Rotary Administrative Review Workgroup Introduces Survey

March 1, 2011
By: Stephen Kent

Not Quite Ready for Prime Time Players

The club's Administrative Review Work Group updated the club on their progress last Tuesday. The group has been meeting weekly for the last few months with the goal of reviewing how the club works, where we are going, and if we're following best practices for a Rotary club.

At this time the committee needs the input from the club. Committee members Eric Jylha, Kelly Frick and Jeff Yantz presented a short skit illustrating the process of taking the survey.

Each member has been e-mailed an invitation and a link to the on-line survey. The committee is using the SurveyGizmo web site to administer the survey. You should follow the link to the survey site and follow the instructions there.

The survey is totally confidential. The e-mail contains a coded number that you need to take the survey, but that number is not linked to a name or e-mail address outside of the survey site. The committee does not know who the survey is from.

Each of the eight committee members has taken the survey multiple times. They feel that most people will be able to complete the survey in 15 to 30 minutes.

A progress bar appears at the top of each page of the survey so you know how you're doing. If you are interrupted, you can check out and come back later to complete the survey.

Every member who takes the survey will be given a makeup. You will also be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate to the Doubletree. Because the survey is confidential, you will have to tell the secretary that you completed the survey. Check your name off the poster at the meeting, or send an e-mail to Secretary@RotaryBayCity.org

If you have other questions, you may send an e-mail to SurveyCommittee@RotaryBayCity.org.
