Bijou Orchestra Cast Performs for Club; This Week: "Ghostbusters!"

Club News
Rob Monroe introduced Brandon Beasley to the club. Brandon has been selected as an outbound Rotary Youth Exchange student. He will go overseas between July 2006 and June 2007. He has not been assigned a country yet. His top five country requests are Japan, South Korea, Australia, Denmark, and Turkey.

The board voted to bestow Honorary Membersships on a several long time financial supporters of the club's programs. These people will be introduced at a future meeting.



November 8's Program



Leo Najar introduced the cast of "And the World Goes Round", the Bijou Orchestra's upcoming show at the State Theater. The show is a repeat of one of the Bijou's most popular shows. Last presented two years ago, the show was a featured event for participants in Rotary District 6310's annual conference which was hosted by the Bay City noon club.

Back by popular demand, the show features most of the original cast from two years ago. The five member cast, accompanied by the Orchestra, sing and dance the songs of one of America's greatest song writing teams. Numbers include New York, New York, Cabaret, selections from Chicago, and other favorites.

Show times are November 11-12; 18-19, 2005 at 8:00PM and November 20 at 2:00PM.
