"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", is only a good movie for me
I don't know if it was because I was anticipating an AWESOME movie or just what it was. There were a few flaws.
The director, Zachary Snyder, had Batman deviate from his character a bit. He killed people! Batman has always gone out of his way not to do this but apparently Mr Snyder thought differently. Another one was the lingering in a scene too long. Just a few seconds here and there would help with the two and a half hour length. I liked Amy Adams as Lois Lane but she had too much to do and Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, didn't have enough. Jesse Eisenberg was the wrong choice for Lex Luthor. I have always though that Luthor was intimidating. Eisenberg? Not so much.
I really liked Ben Affleck as Batman. I didn't think I would but I did and I look forward to him in the sequel. Henry Cavill is a great Superman. He needed some more real acting moments but he certainly is easy on the eyes. The filming is very cool and the special effects are great.
I may wind up seeing it again if someone wants me to. I do wish they would have picked a different director, it could have made all the difference in the world.
So go. Have fun. Eat popcorn.
