What fun! We saw "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2". I loved it as much as the first one. I hope this isn't a spoiler but they again saved the Galaxy.
They are a good team, a family. Like "real" families they argue, bicker, tease and care. The original actors are all back. Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord. Zoe Saldana as Gamora. Dave Bautista as Drax. Vin Diesel is the voice of Baby Groot and boy is he ever cute. Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket. I tried to hear his real voice in there and just couldn't.
Their acting is good. They all seemed to get more lines to say. They all advanced the story of searching for family or looking for something that was right there next to you all along. Michael Rooker, as Yondu, did a very good job. Kurt Russell showed up as the Star-Lord's father. He played an interesting part.
Many stars show up in cameos; of course Stan Lee, Sylvester Stallone, David Hasselhoff, Ving Rhames, Jeff Goldblum, and Miley Cyrus (voice).
There is a of course a great deal of action, which was fun and CGI which was beautiful.
The audience helped make it fun. They cheered, laughed, gasped and cried all at the appropriate times.
Stay through the entire credits. There are 5 clips that are fun. Be sure to see the one with Groot as a teenager.
So go. Have fun. Eat popcorn.
