Somebody just wanted to be
sure we saw that red nose!
Just in case you missed the opportunity last week, you have one more chance to meet some of Santa's backup reindeer this week. The LIVE reindeer will be at the Wirt Library in downtown on Tuesday, December 12, from 5:00 until 7:00 in the evening.
There are few things as magical as reindeer. These gentle deer love to have kids pet them and feed them kibbles. The pair that was at the Sage Library last week include a 2-year-old with a huge rack of antlers and his 7-month-old nephew
Reindeer are fun, and the kids run to the pen right away, but there's more to do inside (where it's a lot warmer). The staff at the Sage Branch had set up tables for crafts as well as chairs for face painting. Everyone seemed to be having a great time.
So, ONE MORE CHANCE. If you've got a little one, or feel like a little one yourself, get over to the Wirt main library on Tuesday to see some real live reindeer.
