The summer festival season opened with the annual YWCA Riverfront Art Festival. Unlike last year's hot and humid days, visitors and artists enjoyed comfortable, almost cool dry air and no rain.
The show featured many of the favorite artists who come to Bay City each year plus a number of new booths. The food area seemed to have more variety and some new entries.
Bay City's Wenonah Park offers something for everyone, with sun and shade and a walk along the river. The art festival is the same with food, jewelry, clothing, pottery, books, musicians, sculpture and so much more. Enjoy some of our favorite scenes from this weekend's event.
