Bay City Players will hold auditions for its upcoming production, the musical Nunsense A-Men! By Dan Goggin, on Sunday, August 6, 2006 and Monday, August 7, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.
Auditions will be held at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Performance dates are October 13-15 and 19-22, 2006. Director Tina Sills and Musical Director Vickie Bowden are looking for 5 men, ages 20-60s, for this production.
Nunsense A-Men! is an offshoot of the hit musical Nunsense, about the Little Sisters of Hoboken nunnery. Five very talented "sisters" sincerely but comically portray the zany nuns as they put on a show in an attempt to raise money to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia (Child of God).
Auditions are open to the public and newcomers are welcome. Those auditioning will be asked to sing and will be asked to dance and read selections from the script.
