Silver Sand Limo Ride Delivers Fun Group to Dixie Chicks' Concert Time Starts When I Get to your Door Says Ray Stack of Silver Sand Limousine August 06, 2006 By O. J. Cunningham "Did we have a good time? Oh Gosh, YEAH," responded Vickie Davidson after her recent trip to Detroit to see the Dixie Chicks. Davidson was the organizer of a group of 12 neighbors, cousins and good friends that traveled in a Silver Sand Limousine Coach to Joe Louis Arena on a recent Friday night to attend a Dixie Chicks concert. "I've been in this Limo business for 20 years," said Silver Sand Owner and driver Ray Stack. "And this group of ladies ranks right up there with some of the most fun groups I've ever driven." Stack and the 12 Dixie Chick fans traveled two hours down I-75 to the concert. The Limousine Coach can carry up to 14 passengers. "We always stop a couple of times on the way down," Stack said. "Our Limo is non-smoking and sometimes we need a bathroom break and a chance to smoke and/or just stretch our legs." Davidson is a long-time fan of Silver Sand Limo and Ray Stack. "I would never use anyone else," Davidson said. "We use Ray (Silver Sand) two or three times a year. I have nothing but good things to say about Ray Stack and his first class operation." Silver Sand Limo is well-known for it's "No Travel Time" policy. "We never charge for travel time to or from your pick-up point," Stack said. "There's never any travel time charges." Stack said he often drives to cities in the Michigan Thumb area and never starts the clock until he picks up his group or family.
