The Nathan Weidner Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) presents the 4th Annual "Wines Around the World" Wine Tasting & Silent Auction, Friday, February 16, 2007.
The event will take place at Lumber Baron's Charcoal Grill and Brew Pub, 804 East Midland Street, Bay City.
Tickets are $30.00 per person and may be purchased through The Nathan Weidner CAC by calling 989-671-1345 or for more information call Lumber Baron's at 891-0100
Penny Warner, Spokesperson for Lumber Barons, said, "Our World Wine Tour will have wine paired with foods at eight different tables, for eight different regions of the world."
Warner added, "There will also be a auction and live music, it should be a real nice event."

All proceeds go directly to supporting the programs and services of the
Nathan Weidner Children's Advocacy Center whose mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect through education and intervention.
Operating under the philosophy that child abuse and neglect is a multi-faceted community problem, the Nathan Weidner Children's Advocacy Center is the lead agency in providing a coordinated community response to child abuse and neglect.
Combining the wisdom and professional skills of a specially trained forensic interviewer and crisis counselor with investigative representatives of Children's Protective Services, the Prosecutor's Office, all law enforcement agencies, and medical personnel, the Nathan Weidner CAC attempt to streamline the most effective child- and family-focused response from initial investigation to the prosecution of the perpetrator and the medical and therapeutic treatment of the child victim and their non-offending family members.
