The 2007 National Singles Paddleball Championship was held at the M.A.C.(Michigan Athletic Center) in East Lansing, Michigan on St. Patrick's week-end.
Six players from Bay City competed in a field of over 80 players from around the country. Only two made it to the Sunday finals, and only one came home with a national title.

Mike "Wiz" Wisniewski defeated San Diego's Greg Badger 21-19, 21-13 in the Senior Division (35 & over) to claim the lone title for Bay City paddleballers.
Badger then turned around and defeated "Wiz" in the Men's Open division for third place.
In the Men's Open finals Kelly Gelhaus, a 3-time champ from Riverside, California, defeated Mike Czabala of Ventura, California 21-7, 21-11. Czabala is a former Bay City Western high school paddleball champion.
Other Bay City players were Chad Krager, Earl Pratt, Scott Wittbrodt, and Greg Keenan.
