St. Hyacinth Marks 100 Years as a Parish
St. Hyacinth Church is located at corner of Cass & Michigan, in the South-end of Bay City.
Sunday, April 22, 2007, marked the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Saint Hyacinth Church.
It was a beautiful day to commence the celebration with a glorious and honorable mass at 2:00 in the afternoon with main celebrant,
Bishop Robert J. Carlson, from The Diocese of Saginaw.

Principal Concelebrants, Bishop Joseph V. Adamec from the The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown and Rev. Edward J. Konieczka, the current Pastor of St. Hyacinth.
Other concelebrates included, Priests of the Vicariate, Parish Sons, Former Pastors and Associates and other priests were in attendance. Master of Ceremonies was Rev. James Bessert and Deacon, Lee Stillwell.
St. Hyacinth Church Choir sang divinely and also included instrumentals which completed a moving and unforgettable mass.
Mass was followed by dinner welcomed by Susana Roznowski and speakers, included, Bishop Carlson, Bishop Adamec, Father Thomas Sutton, Father Lawrence Pashak and parishioner, Marcel Sujkowksi.
Presentations were made by Mayor Mike Buda, Frances Gibelyou, and Theresa Dzurka.
Closing remarks and blessings by Father Edward J. Konieczka ended the evening.
In the spirit of the mission of Christ, Saint Hyacinth Parish strives to be a welcoming and outreach community, and as a parish family, are united in faith to worship, educate and serve.
