Three Hundred Issues of MyBayCity
That's a Pretty Big Deal
Sometime this summer, MyBayCity will reach a milestone.
If my calendar math is accurate, MyBayCity will publish its 300th issue on the 1st Sunday in July 2007.
Later in the year, sometime in December, MyBayCity will log its 2,000 th article.
We made 13 issues back in 2002 when we were just learning what the online newspaper business was all about. Our first publication was launched om March 16, 2002. And now, we're closing in on #300.
That's a pretty big deal.
That
'300' number got me thinking so I did a little research.
M*A*S*H* had 251 episodes.
Star Trek only made 80 shows.
Friends had 236 episodes.
Bay Watch 243.
As of today, (May 30, 2007) Tom Glavine of the New York Mets had 295 wins and Arizona Diamondback hurler Randy Johnson has 282. Three hundred is going to be a big deal for them very soon.
A 300 game in bowling is a big deal too.
So, just in case you're counting . . . and enjoying the weekly issues of MyBayCity . . .
Click Here to drop me a congratulations note.
Because, as it turns out, 300 is a really big deal to me.
