The Vogues were on stage last Wednesday at Wenonah Park.
Great sounds from the 60's filled the Bandshell as the Vogues fashioned out a program of old-time favorites from the Juke Box era and A.M glory days of radio.
Four Tops and other MOTOWN hits were on the agenda. Then came a bit of nostalgic Beach Boys music.
But it was Vogues' Music that the Bay City locals were on hand to hear.
In the 60's, the Vogues created a sound. It was a fresh, original blend of harmony and it left an indelible mark in the music world.
Rock and roll gave The Vogues their beginning. Country and Western and current sounds has also found its way into their repertoire.
The word "vogue" means: the mode of fashion prevalent at any particular time: general favor or acceptance. Today's Vogues have worked hard and successfully to maintain a "NOW" trend while retaining their highly individualistic sound.
