Use an ink pen to write the words "Stables" and "Wednesday Night" on the back of your hand. Send yourself an e-mail. Tie a string around your finger.
But whatever you do . . . Don't miss the last two weeks of the Michigan's Got Talent Competition at Stables on Bay City's (Michigan) West Side.
Eight finalists have already been chosen. As many as three more, maybe four more (and some have suggested even five more) will be added after this Wednesday's (November 28, 2007) performances.
To put it plainly, the judges are up to their eyeballs in talented performers. And they know it!
Judges for the competition are Dick Bork, Kathy Lagalo and Tommie Anderson. All three judges have been involved with the competition for the last eleven weeks. All three judges admit that it will be a difficult challenge to pick one winner from a list of twelve performers (with only one performance) on December 5th.
"Two things are obvious," said Dick Bork about the competition. "Some of the singers are performing every week and they are getting better and better." In addition, Bork pointed out that there's been a rush of entrants during the last 4-week segment.

Stables Manager John Buehl agrees. "We've got 24 singers in this last 4-week segment," Buehl said. "There's a boat-load of talent out there every week," Buehl went on. "Obviously everyone can't make it to the finals."
And there's only one trip to Vegas for one winner.
Some have suggested that on-line voting at MyBayCity.com could become a factor. "I know it's not too scientific," said MyBayCity publisher, O.J. Cunningham. "But it might help the judges if they're looking for more information."
As of Sunday night (6:30pm), the top 13 vote-getters in the MyBayCity online voting for the Final Four spots in the December 5th Finals are:
Coincidently, Janie Thomas, Juice Wiess, Sara Jane and Deb McClarey are all members of the singing group, Branded Heart. Thomas has been a regular over the full length of the competition. Wiess made her first appearance only 4 weeks ago while McClarey and Jane have sung only two times in front of the judges.
Talk around the bar scene over the Thanksgiving holiday was that the judges could select Branded Heart (As A Group) to move into the Finals on December 5th. This would still leave the judges three or four additional selections.
