Micah Read has his own Joe Cocker-like style. When Read sings, he holds nothing back.
Read worked up a sweat singing "The Letter" (Box Tops) during the semi-finals.
In his "Final Five" performance, Micah Read literally blew up his guitar singing his own version of the Animals' "House of the Rising Sun."
Broken guitar strings were dangling everywhere when Read was done with his performance. And everyone at the Stables was on their feet, wildly applauding Read's memorable performance.
And in the end, it was Micah Read that got the judge's vote as the "Best of the Rest" and earned an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas as the top finisher in the 13-week Michigan's Got Talent Competition.
Kate Gembrowski was 2nd in the voting while Karen Powell, Lauren Thomas and Sarah Jane were also in the top five.
