Tip off on Cougars home hardwood ends in 65-59 VICTORY!
After a home court win last Tuesday over Carrolton, the Cougars once again hit their home hardwood. Right from the tip-off the Cougars hit the court running and never let up. On both defense and offense the All Saints Varsity team gave the Valley Lutheran Chargers a more than ample display of their talent. The visiting Chargers managed to stay in the game, and shortly after intermission, the scoreboard was still showing an even score.

The third period was a contest that required both teams to use all the speed they could muster to gain a commanding lead. After several successful, and many - not so successful drives, the score would hang at 49-48 -- with the Chargers holding onto a fragile lead.
The Cougar spirit truly shined in the fourth period however. For most of the game the All Saints fans remained silent in their seats while the Chargers fans cheered their team onward. The fourth period got the Cougar spectators on their feet and rooting for their school.
Cougar fans come to life in the 4th quarter
Motivated by the encouraging cheers of their fans, the Cougars blazed ahead and defiantly established a commanding lead. Although the Cougar defense allowed a few points here and there, and even a miraculous 3 pointer to the Chargers; the Cougars successfully managed to run the clock down on the Valley Lutheran boys to claim another win this season.
The final score was All Saints 65 - Valley Lutheran 59.
The Cougars hope to continue their winning ways this coming week, as they challenge the Pinconning Spartans once again.
