The American Boxing & Athletic Association (A.B.A.A.) Presents the 12th Annual Invitational Boxing.
Saturday, February 9, 2008.
The boxing bouts take place at the Michigan National Guard Armory, located at 2510 E. Wilder Rd., Bay City. First bout beginning at 7:30 p.m.
There will be approximately 15 bouts on the fight card, featuring, Matt Maciag, Bay City's Heavyweight Eastern Michigan Champion. Maciag's bout will be the Main Event against Michael Cribbs of Port Huron.
Bob Arsenault, is the A.B.A.A. Manager and Coach. Arsenault is a Registered & Certified Level 2 Coach with USA Boxing and has been a member since 1971. Arsenault also trained former Super Middle Weight Champion, Murray Sutherland in 1984.
According to Arsenault there will be fighters from all around Michigan in the Junior, Novice and Open classes.
Arsenault volunteers and dedicates his time to these young boxers, building their self confidence and helps them develop good character and the right attitude, which keeps them off the streets and out of trouble.

Arsenault said, "Bay City Boxers provide fast-packed, Golden Gloves Style boxing action." If you haven't seen one of our events, come and check us out. "Everything is safely run. All the fighters have physicals before and after the bouts," Arsenault said.
Arsenault continued, "We are showcasing our fighters for the upcoming Golden Gloves Event in March at the Expo Center in Birch Run." "We travel all over the state, next in Pontiac, then here in Bay City, Davidson, Detroit, then the State Championship and on to Nationals." Arsenault added.
