The Garber Girls got a good tune up for their run at the districts with a 69-35 win over North Branch Friday night.
It was another great team effort by the lady Dukes that had every player on the team getting some floor time.
Garber took an 11-7 lead after the first quarter and then exploded for 25 in the second taking a 36-18 lead at half.
The Dukes never looked back as they improved to 14-6 overall and 9-5 in conference play as they sowed up third place.
Garber coach Gary Huskins enjoyed the win as he commented after the game, "last game of the regular season at home, we accomplished everything we wanted to."
Sophomore Katie Neering led the Dukes with 15 while Kara Brewer added 10.
The lady Duke's drew a bye in the first round of districts held at Frankenmuth and will meet the winner of the Frankenmuth John Glenn game on Wednesday at 7:30PM.
