Bringing back hair teasing memories by paying tribute to the music, trends and events of the 1980's, this Frankenmuth festival held in the Harvey Kern Pavilion in Heritage Park has it all!
Remember the days of Pac Man, Big Hair, Leggings and Slouched Socks, Miami Vice, Banana Hair Clips, Valley Girls and Jelly Shoes????
There were many activities available to the crowd from getting your hair "did" to getting a massage to the Rubik's Cube Challenge!
Jedi Mind Trip played 80's musical entertainment for the thousands that turned out for the event!

People pegged their pants, break-danced and played Atari in the "Retro Lounge". This year was the 3rd Annual Bringin' Back the 80's celebration and had thousands turn out to head back in time! Jedi Mind Trip was the musical entertainment and boy....did they entertain! Dressed for the occasion and puttin' on the good ole' 80's music we all remember, they put on a fantastic show for party goers!

The best dressed competition found a new winner this year and that winner was........."Boy George"! The top three picks for the Best Dressed Competition also included "Flashdance" and "The Breakfast Club" themes! Miss Michigan was on hand along with MyTriCityNews.com as celebrity judges to pick the top three out of literally hundreds of anxious participants!

This festival is put on each and every year by Jeanna Zehnder and her hard working crew in memory of her mother, Jill Zehnder who passed from cancer in 1999. Proceeds are going to the American Cancer Society.
