Get your passports and VIP passes and "get on down" to the river. The ships are here in all their glory for a great festival weekend on the shores of the Saginaw River in downtown Bay City.
Last time the Tall Ships were in port at Bay City (2001), over 300,000 people turned out to roam the streets of Bay City to catch a glimpse (and perhaps even tour) one of the more than a dozen ships in town for the Tall Ships Festival.
With the weatherman promising nothing but sunshine, all bets are off as to how many tourists might turn out for 2003 Tall Ships Festival.
