AdoreAble Promotions, Inc., in association with The American Boxing and Athletic Association brings world class boxing back to Bay City on Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th at Hooters Parking Lot in Bay City with the Bud Light Lime Hooters Fight Nights.

Toughman Founder Art Dore says, "Hooters Fight Nights have become an entire entertainment experience, with the great boxing action, Hooter girls, live music, festival atmosphere, great food, and Budweiser beer, plus the female pillow fights, it's definitely a unique experience that you don't want to miss!"

The Double Feature Includes:

Friday, July 18th Tough Gloves Fight Night takes place as over 40 local Toughmen and Toughwomen do battle in a USA Boxing Sanctioned event. Find out who is the Toughest Man and Woman in Bay City. Over 40 of the area's toughest men and women will do battle in 3-one minute rounds of boxing, with participants wearing 12 ounce gloves, headgear and groin protection.

See bar bouncers, brawlers, former high school athletes, ex-convicts, farm boys and fatboys battle for the title Toughest in Town! It's the most action packed entertainment experience allowed by law!


Also Featuring Local A.B.A.A. Amateur Boxers,
Bay City's 2007 & 2008 Eastern Michigan Golden Gloves Champion - Matt Maciag and 2008 Golden Gloves State Champion - Merrill Martinez of Bay City.

Saturday, July 19th , TOUGHMAN GOES PRO with the Toughman Professional Boxing Series event. With the same excitement, music, nicknames, Hooters ring girls, and fast paced action packed entertainment, TOUGHMAN PRO BOXING now features former Toughman competitors that have turned professional.



The Toughman Pro Boxing Series MAIN EVENT features a Heavyweight Title Match battle between Bay City's own Branden "Gunz" Arsenault (Above Left), who is undefeated versus Midland's knockout artist Matt Eckerle (Above Right), who knocked out Butterbean's son in the first round in his last bout.

The Featured Bout is Bay City's own Cory "The Mad Bomber" Peterson (Pictured Right) defending his Hooters Welterweight Championship Belt vs. David Mound of Ohio. Peterson's an extremely fit head to toe boxer, his hard work, determination and dedication shows he means business! Mad Bomber bouts are guaranteed good action packed - hard hitting professional boxing at it's Best!

Former Toughman Champion and local favorite fighter from Skidway Lake, Ole "The Lumberjack" Thorsen returns to the ring after some logging injuries slowed down his career. Ole wanted to let everyone know, THE LUMBERJACK IS BACK!



The Mid-Michigan area will be well represented as other featured fighters include veteran pro boxer Mike Walther of Bay City (Pictured Left) ; Joaquin Garcia, who fought Butterbean last year and who's father Juan runs the Saginaw Boxing Club, CJ Glover of Bay City, Lee Thomas of Saginaw, and undefeated prospect Lorenzo Reynolds of Saginaw.
