Mid-Michigan's Got Talent Rolls ON -- Only Two Weeks To Go

Competition Intensity Heats Up -- As Finals Draw Near

The Mid-Michigan's Got Talent is in the 10th week of the competition and going strong.

The 17-week program will include on-line voting once the 15 finalists are chose on July 2, 2008. The following Sponsors make on-line voting possible: Starlyte Productions/Tri-City Party Rentals, Clock Doctor, Bay City Bakery, AP Sites, Dick Bork of Labadie New & Used Cars and Sheri Deardoff of Bay Area Real Estate. Five finalists were named two weeks ago. They included; Joe DiPiero, the multi-talented Mark Kelley, Geno Cummings, Bridgette Ballor and the always entertaining Chuck Kirkbride.

These five join Kevin Sackit, Drew Brady, Jessica Rex, Lauren Thomas and Joe Atchinson who were named as Finalists in late May.

Five more Finalists will be added on July 2nd after the next 4 weeks of competition.

Beginning July 9, the 15 Finalists will compete head-to-head for four weeks. One week they will sing, Country Music, one week Rock & Roll, one week MoTown and then the final week will be singers choice.

Judges will then pick four semi-finalists that will sing Friday night at the Pig Gig. The Grand Prize winner will be chosen after that performance.

Winner will receive an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas and will also be the opening act at the Pig Gig on Sunday for the Grass Roots.
