for 'Father's Day Fly-in'
Valley Aero Club Host Nearly 700 People for Breakfast

Imagine hosting nearly 700 people for pancake breakfast on Father's day. Valley Aero Club at James Clements airport served 610 adults and 79 children this past Sunday in the Henry Dora historical hangar.
"Five volunteer aircraft from Wings of Mercy, East Michigan flew 89 adults and 40 children, giving many first airplane rides, as well as flying a number of handicapped children," stated Max Emry, Fly-in chairperson.
The crowd also enjoyed the static display of homebuilt commercial airplanes, antique cars, Gold Wing Honda motorcycles and local medical facilities' emergency vehicles.
According to Bob Passage, President of Valley Aero Club, Valley Aero Club donated $5,000 from proceeds to the Bay City James Clements Airport for the purchase of a camera surveillance system."
Over the 54 years of the club's existence it has contributed in excess of $45,000 to Bay City's airport.
Valley Aero Club meets on the third Monday of each month at James Clements Airport. The public is welcome!
