What can we say? The annual 3 day Fourth of July Fireworks in Bay City is always fun, exciting and colorful. 2008 was no exception. As an added treat a barge was anchored in the middle of the river to provide a third launching point. Bay City's own Polish Pyro's Pyrotechnics group outdid themselves with this great show.
We could go on, but we'd rather just get on with the show. Here's a collection of our favorites from 2008.
By the way, these pictures are NOT "photo shopped". They've been cropped a bit and reduced in size to fit the screen and to download faster, but other than that they're right out of the camera! (Sony DSC-R1, 10.3 mega pixel, ISO 200, 1 to 2.5 second exposures at f4.0 to f11.)
