Downtown Bay City To Host 2nd Annual Arts In Autumn

Bay City's Downtown Management Board is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Arts in Autumn, Thursday, September 25 through Saturday, September 27, 2003 in Historic Downtown Bay City.
The 2nd Annual Arts in Autumn kicks off with the
5th Annual Wine Walk on Thursday, September 25, 2003 from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Visit 12 participating establishments to sample fine wines and hors d'oeurves.
For the first time, downtown merchants will sponsor and display the art work of local artists in their establishments from Thursday, September 25 through Saturday, September 27, 2003. You don't want to miss the
Gallery Hop on Saturday, September 27 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Visit participating establishments to meet the artists that created the pieces that are on display at that establishment.
For the second year, elementary students from the Bay City Public Schools will be on site Thursday, September 25 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. to create works of
arton the sidewalks and windows throughout historic Downtown Bay City in the theme of
Harvest Moon.
Thursday, September 25, stroll through Downtown Bay City to the sounds of jazz, acoustic guitar, accordion and celtic music. Sonas,
Greg Stevens, Randy Chandler & Lisa Ames, plus the students from the Western High School Jazz Band will be performing throughout Downtown Bay City between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m..
Performances will be in front of the Atrium, 1100 Water Street, at the corner of Saginaw Street and Center Avenue, at the State Theatre, 913 Washington Avenue, and next to O'Sole Mio, 1005 Saginaw Street.
