2003 HOF Inductees Ready for the Program to Begin 13th Annual Bay County Sports Hall of Fame Banquet

A full house was on hand Saturday night to induct the Class of 2003 into the Bay County Sports Hall of Fame. The event, held at the Grand Banquet and Conference in Hampton Township was the 13th Annual Induction ceremony for the prestigious local Hall of Fame organization.
Close to 400 sports enthusiasts applauded as Jeff Bisel, Kelly Delong-Henry, Jack Howard, Al Kayner, Mary Kay Bolduc-Krause, Harry Halub, Dan Skrzypczak and Jarv Walz were enshrined during the evening's festivities.
In addition, the 1987 Bay City Handy Class 'B' State Champion Baseball team as well as womens' fastpitch State Champion Class 'A' softball teams, Cubby's Bar and Danny's Market were also be inducted.
"Master of Ceremonies, Rod Adams was awesome," said HOF President, O. J. Cunningham. "Rod is the perfect guy for the job," Cunningham continued. "We (HOF) couldn't do it without him."
Inductees each received plaques and a proclamation from the Mayorof Bay City, Kathy Newsham. Inducted team members fron Bay City Handy and fastpitch softball teams Cubby's and Danny's each received certificates.
Replicas of all awards will also be displayed in the Bay County Community Center at Vet's Park in Bay City. For more information on the Bay County Sports Hall of Fame, Click Here!
