The American Boxing & Athletic Association (A.B.A.A.) along with the Greater Bay Area Boxing Center will hold their Annual Fall Boxing Invitational on Saturday, November 8, 2008. Show time is 8:00 PM. Location is The Prime Event Center in downtown Bay City.
On the fight card approximately 15 bouts of golden gloves style boxing.

According to A.B.A.A. Head Coach
Bob Arsenault, there will be fighters from all over Michigan including, Bay City, Saginaw, Flint, Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Pontiac, Muskegon, Lansing, Ann Arbor, Mt. Pleasant, Davidson and Detroit.
Arsenault added, "Boxing fans will definitely get their money's worth."
Tickets are $12.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door. All tickets are general admission. ('first come - first serve' seating)
The boxing event will be held at a new venue this season, at The
Prime Event Center located at 1201 N. Washington Avenue, Downtown Bay City.

MAIN EVENT will be Bay City's 2008 Super Heavyweight Golden Gloves Champion

Bay City's 2008 State Golden Gloves Champion Merrill Martinez VS. Saginaw's National Golden Gloves Champion Ernie Garza.
Detroit's National Junior Olympic Heavyweight Champion Dan Smith
VS. Detroit's Out State 2008 Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion Ryan Rawls.
Traverse City's 152# Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion Javon Barnes VS. Detroit's Eddie Gates.
