Bay Regional Medical Center
Bay Regional Medical Center is offering the following support groups in the near future:
Amputees, June 2 (call 667-6736);
Cancer, May 7 (call 894-3180);
Laryngectomy, May 14 (667-6600;
Stroke, June 9 (667-6736);
Type 2 Diabetes, May 20 (894-9528);
Caring for Others, May 13 & 27 (Karen Pabalis 667-6636); and
Baby Signing, May 11, (894-3935);
Precious Reflections - Pregnancy/infant loss, May 5 (894-3015).
A Parkinson's Exercise & Movement class is held each Wednesday (register at 667-6600 or at bayregional.org.)
Prenatal programs for expectant parents and parents of newborns is offered (classes listed at bayregional.org, calendar & events.)
Diabetes Self-Care Education is offered weekly (call 894-9528).
Attendance is free at the above-listed group meetings.
Heart Health & Stroke Screening will be offered May 20 in conjunction with the American Stroke Association (call 1-877-411-BRMC or log onto www.bayregional.org). Cost is $10.
Fitness Fun for Kids, for children ages 6-10, is set Tuesdays from July 7 through Aug. 11, 10-11:30 a.m. Cost is $35. (Pre-register by June 19 at 667-6600 or at www.bayregional.org).
The Happiest Baby Block Party is set May 21 6-8:30 p.m. with funding provided by the Bay City Public Schools Parent Involvement & Education program. (Call 894-8617 or log on bayregional.org.)
