Rock and Roll was the theme of the night, tunes from Metallica, AC/DC, Rob Zombie, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, The Who, Alice Cooper just to name a few of the rock band songs that contestants chose to sing during the Idol Show Competition as it's now down to the wire with one week to go.
"I think the competitors are starting to feel the pressure," said O.J.
Cunningham who has been sitting in as a judge for the past month. "With only
a few weeks to go," Cunningham added. "I think they (singers) might be
realizing that there's only one more performance," he said. "It's like it's
the moment of truth. One more performance and then the competition is over."
Idol Judge, George Lynch, said, "There have been a few people who have really stepped it up for the "theme weeks." With one week to go, Lynch added, "I'm really hoping that everyone kicks it up a notch . . . we love a close race . . . and this one is coming down to the wire."
