Celebrities Team Up with Rib Competitors to Raise Money for Local Charities

It was the annual Labadie Pig Gig Celebrity Cook-off, local television, radio & media celebrities battled it out for the best celebrity BBQ sauce recipes.
From noon to 1:00 rib tasters put in their vote for the favorite rib sauce.
Media personalities compete with their own "secret recipes" to compete and win the title "Best Celebrity Ribs" while raising money for their team up charity.
Winners were announced after competition and each of which were rewarded with a trophy and of course bragging rights.
The Bay City Times brought home an award in every category. Final results of the competition are named below.

came down to celebrity event to cast their vote for favorite sauce and media celebrities
(Above) Media personalities Jerry O'Donnel and Lauren Haertell get set up early on Friday morning for live airing during the celebrity cook-off. Joining them in their efforts to raise money for Nathan Weidner Children's Advocacy Center were Rib Competitor 'Touch of Smoke' along with MyBayCity.com and That Show.
The Nathan Weidner Children's Advocacy Center was named in memory of Nathan Weidner, son of Jack & Ann Weidner. The NWCAC has helped hundreds of abused and neglected children of Bay and Arenac Counties.
