It was a Candy-Land Wonderland in the Johnson Street Area in Bay City on Saturday, September 25, 2010.
And more colorful then a rainbow as the Tummy Ache Candy store located at 1116 North Johnson Street in Bay City held a free trolley ride day for free rides to and from the candy store.
It was FREE popcorn, snow-cones, ice cream and trolley rides!
Trolley rides were throughout the area, which included, Center Avenue - Woodside, from Madison to Caro Park zig-zagging throughout the side streets.
(Right) According to Owner, Star Hemmings, they save money from there 'tip jar' to offer the free trolley rides for this annual event.
Hemmings said, "We have been here for 9 years working on 10, we are so proud & excited to be here. "Thanks to our volunteers for this event and the people of Bay City and all that give and for their support of our candy store."
Hemmings continued, "There was so many people and new people as well, which made for an exciting day. It has been definitely an adventure in the making for the past few weeks."
The Sweet Shoppe has homemade candy, Ice cream, snow cones, cakes & cookies and so much more. Also hosts birthday parties, call 989-891-7669 for more information on pricing.
