The 2011 East Michigan Golden Gloves Amateur Boxing Championships will be held at Birch Run Expo Center, in Birch Run on the following dates:
Action begins each night at 7:00 p.m.
According to the Michigan Association of USA Boxing President, Gary Richards, there are thirteen (13) Eastern Michigan teams from Harrison and Pontiac as well as the Michigan thumb area that will be in competition at this exciting annual event that advances winners to the Novice and Open Division Champions to the Michigan Golden Gloves State Championships, in Grand Rapids on April 8th and 9th 2011.
Open Division Champions from the state tournament further advance to the National Golden Gloves Championships to be held in Indianapolis, IN. the week of April 25, 2011.
Winners at the National Golden Gloves Championships then move on the the USA Boxing National Championships in Colorado Springs CO. on June 20th thru 25th, 2011.
The 2011 East Michigan Golden Gloves Amateur Boxing Championships will be conducted on Thursday, March 17, 2011 Thursday, March 31, 2011 and Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Birch Run Expo Center, in Birch Run.
Tickets for the East Michigan Golden Gloves Championships may be purchased at the Birch Run Expo Center Box Office.
