Over 500 Youngsters Take Part in the Leprechaun Run

It was the annual Leprechaun Run for Kids at 2:00PM on Saturday afternoon, March 19, 2011 on John F. Kennedy Dr., Bay City. The event was held in front of the Bay County Community Center.
Over 500 youngsters participated in this year's St. Pat's Races for kids. These kids are the future of the Sunday version of race day -- Al Kayner's St Pat's Races -- which is held in downtown Bay City right before the St Pat's Parade.
The Youth Leprechaun Run included a 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile races. All participants were rewarded with medals handed out by Bay City Fire & Rescue.
