Volunteers from a variety of different professions were conducting the interviews, coming from places like McLaren Bay Region, Dow Corning, Davenport University, Delta College, Chemical Bank, PNC, Independent Bank. Strieter noted that the volunteers that came in to conduct the interviews are "really influential people" and stated that "they do it because they love it."
When asked about what she thought the students gain from their experience doing mock interviews, Strieter said "Realism. This is what it's really like. They can ask questions, they can mess up, and it's okay. You can't get this in a textbook."
