The refreshing new Carol Park in Bay City! Carrol Park Gets Renovated

The community gathered at Carrol Park on September 17, 2013 to view some recent renovations. Volunteers worked on a four day project at Carrol Park back in August with a $25,000 grant provided by Dow Checmical Co.
With this grant, volunteers were able to paint animal statues, re-roof the pavilion, add a new grill, cement sidewalks, plant trees and re-furbish the tennis courts.

as a boy growing up I can remember our Farragut School football teams (1951-52)playing our games at Carrol Park. Since our playground was gravel it was a pleasure to play our games on grass.
I remember my eighth grade year at the old Washington School playing for the city championship. It was and still is a great park. When ever I visit my family in Bay City I always make it a point to drive down Park Ave and visit the grand old site Jack Barker |
