Inspiring, touching, admirable, are only some of the words to describe the Great Lakes Bay Region YWCA 2014 Women of Achievement Awards ceremony held at the Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw. The YWCA continues to 'Shake it Up' as they showed off their new campaign featuring local supports, setting an exciting mood for the night. Nine well deserving women of this area were presented with the highest respect and praise for their accomplishments and contribution to their community. "It was a beautiful night for our honorees and attendees. The YW was proud to host this event honoring women who are positive role models to look up to. The event was successful in showing off the great women we have here in the Great Lakes Bay Region." -Lisa Grills, Executive Director YWCA Great Lakes Bay Region.
