Holiday tradition of 'Sundays in the City'. The event begins Sunday, November 13th and runs each Sunday through December 18th.
Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive at Wenonah Park in Downtown Bay City at 7 p.m. Friday, November 25th.
Downtown Bay City merchants invite you to share in the holiday season with the annual holiday tradition of "Sundays in the City". The event begins Sunday, November 13th and runs each Sunday through December 18th.

(NOTE: ** Tours of the newlyrenovated theatre will be available from noon till 3 p.m. except during special Sunday theatre events.)
Strolling Musicians: Throughout the Downtown streets, time and locations vary (weather permitting). Graciously sponsored by: The Boathouse Condominiums and Sister Studio.
Santa Bucks: Watch for your Santa Buck Insert on Thursday, November 10th, distributed in The Bay City Times, Midland Daily News and The Saginaw News. Holiday shoppers can redeem their Santa Bucksat any participating location, starting November 13th until December 18th. Total Santa Buck Value is $185.00!!!
Sunday Open House: Various stores will hold special holiday activities each weekend throughout the event. Be sure to call ahead for details.
Also Featured During Sundays in the City:5th Annual Festival of Wreaths - Sunday, November 13th through December 11th Participating Downtown shops and restaurants will hand design and decorate a total of 37 wreaths in holiday themes or themes that best represent their individual establishments. Wreaths will be on display at any of the previously mentioned establishments beginning November 13th thru December 11th. Downtown visitors and shoppers can enter to win their favorite wreath at the establishment where the wreath is displayed. Winners will be drawn December 12th, just in time for the holidays.
Sleigh of Gifts Giveaway - Sundays, November 13th through December 18th - The annual downtown tradition continues again this year! One extremely lucky individual will be the winner of the "Sleigh of Gifts" filled with gifts from each of the participating businesses valued at over $2,000!! The Sleigh of Gifts will be on display at810 Washington Avenue. Those wishing to enter can do so at any of the previously mentioned participating establishments. The winner will be drawn on December 19, 2005, just in time for all the gifts to be placed under the tree.
Additional Holiday EventsBijou Orchestra: The Bijou Orchestra will perform And The World Goes 'Round, The Music of Kander and Ebb, Sunday, November 20th at 2 p.m. at the State Theatre.
Santa's Arrival: Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive at Wenonah Park in Downtown Bay City at 7 p.m. Friday, November 25th. Santa's arrival will also kick off the River of Lights Celebration. Kids, bring your flashlights and help guide Santa's Sleigh. Following his arrival, Santa will head to the Delta College Planetarium to greet children until 9 p.m. Parents, don't forget your cameras. This event is supported by the Bay Arts Council. Santa's treats are graciously provided by: St. Laurent Brothers and The Bay City Times. Beverages provided by McDonald's Restaurant at 314 Washington Avenue.
Lord of the Rings: The State Theatre, 913 Washington Avenue will be showing Lord of the Rings: Return of the King on Sunday, December 4th at 1 p.m.
Men's Night: Wednesday,December 14, 2005. Participating stores will be open until 8 p.m. Free gift wrapping and refreshments. Wish lists available in advance at each participating locations.
