Are Exceptional in Code Black
Last year's third season of "Under the Dome" was so bad, I refuse to get involved with ANY new Network television programming this Fall just because it's glitzy and available.
The new shows are rolling out with all of the pomp and circumstance usually afforded an M. Knight Shyamalan movie release.
I won't be fooled again.
Here's my quick "take" on what I've already seen.
Grandfathered .... No, No No
Blindspot .... They wish they could be Blacklist but they're not. Is she his daughter? Or isn't she? Seriously .... Write your own script.
Minority Report .... Loved the Tom Cruise movie back a few years ago. This TV adaptation will be the first one to get cancelled in mid-season.
Rosewood .....Embarrassing ....
The Grinder .... Hmmmmmm .... Rob Lowe's character is surprisingly loveable. Fred Savage is believable. The wife and father are well-chosen. I haven't given up, yet.
Limitless .... JENNIFER CARPENTER, JENNIFER CARPENTER, JENNIFER CARPENTER .... Limitless is an American crime drama television series starring Jake McDorman as Brian Finch, who discovers the power of a mysterious drug called NZT. It's like an on-going sequel to the Bradley Cooper character. Jennifer Carpenter is the assigned FBI agent. You should know her as Dexter's sister. She is PERFECTION .... Two Thumbs Up.
Code Black .... Code Black is an American medical drama television series It takes place in an overcrowded and understaffed emergency room in Los Angeles, California. Sure, it's like Grey's Anatomy, House and all the others. But Marcia Gay Harden (DADDY) and Luiz Guzman (MOMMA) have the lead and should be able to keep our attention for at least one season. Two Thumbs.
I'm sticking with the proven storylines that I've become familiar with.
Major Crimes
Last Man Standing
Rizzoli & Isles
Elementary
Person of Interest
Castle
And ..... Looking forward to the "live" and "un-scripted" Undateable coming out Friday.
