The DNR reports 105 wildfires in recent weeks in Northern Michigan.
WILDFIRES -The DNR reports it has dealt with 105 wildfires in the Northern Lower Peninsula, which have burned 407 acres of woodland recently. The DNR issues burning permits when it deems conditions in the woods safe enough. In Roscommon County, permits are available by calling (989) 422-5522 or (989) 275-8512.
