$2.95 per gallon. That was the price for regular gasoline on Center Avenue on Wednesday morning - earlier this week. That is . . . everywhere on Center Avenue except for the Admiral Station between Wendy's and Family Video.
Tacey's on Scheurmann and Center was at $2.95 per gallon. There was NOBODY in line.
The Kroger sign indicated $2.95 per gallon gas also but offered a three cent incentive to Kroger Shoppers using a Kroger Discount Card.
At the Admiral Station
Gas was $2.62 per gallon.
And the cars were pulling into the station from all angles to get a shot at the lower price gasoline.
"It's gonna save me $6.00 onthis tank of gas," said one truck driver that was waiting patiently in line. "Thirty cents a gallon . . . 20 gallons . . . That's $6 anyway you look at it," he said.
Bay City Gas Prices Tri City Gasoline Prices One elderly lady in a compact car expressed anger about the gas prices. "They make us wait in line to buy expensive gas. I'm on a fixed income. This is just terrible," she said. "It's price gouging. There outta be a law against it."
Cars were backed-up three to a pump for most of the afternoon at the Admiral Gasoline Station on Center Avenue in Bay City.
