Infinity Skate Park is Perfect for 'Smiths' and 'Feebles' of all Sorts

Summertime means skateboard time for local teens.
And on most afternoons, the Infinity Skate Park is one cool, carvin' piece of cement with upwards of 30 skateboarders on the move during most of the daylight hours. Infinity, owned and operated by the City of Bay City is on the west side of Bay City at Defoe Park on Marquette Ave -- Immediateley adjacent to Defoe SWLL Baseball Park. The park is open from 8:00am to 10:00pm Daily -- From the 1st Snowmelt thru November (weather permitting.)
The web site Concrete Disciples describes Infinity Park as:
A 17,000 sq. ft. park with a lot of tranny.
It has a smaller sections with 2 foot pools, hips, a bank, and a small block. There is also a 9 foot vert quarter pipe.
There is a 5 foot spine with a table top on one side and a maze of 3/4 bowls on the other. There are no full bowls at the park. There are three, five foot, 3/4 bowls and a seven foot 3/4 bowl.
There is a large tabletop in the middle linking them all together and a channel in the 5 foot section.
There are 5 hubbas and 4 rails. There is a 20 foot long hubba next to a 20 foot long square rail. The other hubbas are pretty small. There is a nice round rail thats perfect for smiths and feebles of all sorts.
And then there is something no skatepark is complete without...the infamous four stair accompanied by a very small square rail.
Over all its a pretty fun park and you can carve for hours. Its also cool because you can carve some bowls, hit some ledges and rails and carve more bowls without pushing once.
Every body knows everybody at the park. Theres some party stores within walking distance in both directions. No pads or helmet required.
And the local boarders say Infinity is hot, summer fun. "We wish we could dome it so we could skate year-round," said one skater.
