The 8th Annual Wine Walk on the East Side of Bay City will be taking place on Thursday, September 28, 2006.

Because of the popularity of this event, tickets are selling out faster each year. Tickets are rare the week of the event so get your tickets early! (Ticket Info Below)

The wine walk is from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. in Downtown Bay City. The tradition continues with 14 of Downtown Bay City's finest restaurants and pubs coming together to offer an evening of fine wines, delicious food and good friends.

This year's event starts with ticket validation and receipt of a commemorative wine glass at the Historic State Theatre (913 Washington Ave.) from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

This event highlights fine wines and food from a variety of regions around the world.

For example the Doubletree Hotel will be highlighting Sicily; Bay City Elks Club will be serving from our very own Bay City; and Striker's Sports Bar will be serving a taste of California.

With Bay City's newest event, Hell's Half Mile Film & Music Festival, happening September 27 through October 1, there will be a new element added to this year's Wine Walk. Short independent films and parts of short films from HHM Festival will be shown outdoors near high traffic areas during the Walk.
