Notre Dame is guaranteed a spot in a major BCS bowl game if the end up in the Top 8 at the end of the seaason.
That's a payday of $16 million.
Louisville's loss will drop them out of the BCS Top 10. Everyone else moves up.
If the Irish win out, they could move as high as 4 or 5. That will ring up a $16 million payoff for Charlie Weiss and his "Fighting Irish."
