Comedian Steve Iott will perform at Lumber Barons' on January 19th.
Hollywood comes to Bay City, Michigan!
Beginning January 19th, national comedy shows most often seen in the major markets of Los Angeles & New York will be on-stage right here in Bay City.
The Funny Business Agency, along with Lumber Barons' Charcoal Grill and Brew Pub, are bringing national comedy acts to Bay City, Michigan every Friday night at "Lumber Barons' Comedy Night" upstairs in their Genevieve Ballroom.
Funny Business is one of the largest agencies in the country, booking comedy in over 63 cities each week. Lumber Barons' has now tied into their national routing to bring the newest and best rising young stars from all over the United States into Bay City.
Comics seen on the Tonight Show, David Letterman, & Showtime - including famous acts like Drew Carey and Tim Allen - have played the comedy club circuits provided by The Funny Business Agency.
Funny Business is now working with Lumber Barons' to bring these same incredibly funny comedians into the Bay City area. Laughter is good medicine. Bob Hope once said, "I have seen what a laugh can do. It can transform almost unbearable tears into something bearable, even hopeful".
Penny Warner, spokes-person for Lumber Barons' says "Let go of the stress and join us on Midland Street for an evening of great entertainment." Warner says that the comedy shows are great for birthday and anniversary parties, or just as a moral booster to build employee team spirit.
The big laughs start January 19, 2007 at Lumber Barons'. Call it "Doctor's Orders" and make an appointment to get a dose of laughter to cure the winter blues.
