Having a hard time keeping your fitness New Years Resolution?

If your goal is to have tight buns, toned legs, a flat stomach, a strong upper body and lose weight, Kick-boxing Aerobics is one way to accomplish that goal.

Kick-boxing Aerobics is a fun and effective way to get into shape. It is a high-energy workout that is one of the most popular work-outs today.

According to Muscle and Fitness magazine, aerobic kick-boxing is rated the number one fat burner of all fitness activities. A one hour class can burn up to 800 calories.



Kick-boxing aerobics classes combine Kick-boxing and Karate skills with aerobic exercise. The benefits include, flexibility, strength, endurance, build confidence, self-esteem, self-control, a positive mental attitude, toning, muscle building, it also reduces stress levels.



(Above) Chrystal Courtney, Local Kick-boxing Aerobics Instructor, teaches the class at New Body Health and Fitness. Courtney is in her 4th year of teaching the class.

Courtney says, "Our class workout also incorporates, weight training, and focuses on areas such as the abs, legs and buttock which makes it a total body work-out."

Courtney adds, "We also have access to the boxing equipment from the American Boxing & Athletic Association (located in the same building) to do heavy bag training."

(Right) Participate, Vanessa Fila, of Essexville, said, "It's a tough work-out, but Chrystal makes it fun." Fila continued, "I've made good friends here, it's a great & inspiring group to be a part of."
