Combining the wisdom and professional skills of a specially trained forensic interviewer and crisis counselor with investigative representatives of Children's Protective Services, the Prosecutor's Office, all law enforcement agencies, and medical personnel, the Nathan Weidner CAC attempt to streamline the most effective child- and family-focused response from initial investigation to the prosecution of the perpetrator and the medical and therapeutic treatment of the child victim and their non-offending family members.
