"Sure, I'm looking for new clients," Jerry Cole answered when asked why he was writing a 13-week money management series for MyBayCity.
But new client are not the only thing Cole cares about.
Cole, a Financial Planner for almost 30 years in the Tri-City area, also sees a need.
"Bay City, is a maturing community," Cole said. "There is a tremendous need for information out there." Cole went on to say that every day, more and more of the area's population get closer and closer to retirement.
Cole is skilled in retirement planning, estate planning and education planning and holds and MBA from the University of Southern California (USC). "I'm hoping to help people come to grips with some of these very serious money matters that effect each and every one of us as we grow older."
"Retirement scares people," Cole said. "The worst thing to do is nothing.
Cole thinks MyBayCity is the perfect way to communicate with the population of Bay City. "I want to let people know that it's alright not to know all the answers. And to let them know that there's help out there for them."
