Little Leaguers Will Shovel Compost On Saturday to Support the Environment

Little Leaguers attended Bay City Commission meeting on Monday night to offer Earth Day T-shirts to the Mayor and City Commission.
The Little Leaguers will be at Veteran's Park on Saturday to assist Senior Citizens and disabled citizen pick up compost as part of the Earth Day celebration.
Tony Rytlewski (Bay City Department of Sanitation Street & Fleet) and Administrative Assistant Sherry Warren were also on hand to help the Little Leaguers pass out the shirts.
Proceeds from the compost event will help Little Leaguers pay for utilities during the upcoming baseball season.
The Mayor and Commissioners proudly accepted the shirts during commission proceedings.
"It's a great way to support both the environment and the environment," Rytlewski said.
