Rick (Ardito) and Rick (Bezemek) from Drew Estate were in town to promote the Chateau Real brand of cigars.

Drew Estate held a cigar tasting event on Wednesday night at Timothy's Fine Tobaccos in Downtown Bay City. Host Tim Socier sent out invitations to his "regulars" and turnout for the event was excellent.

Rick & Rick were on tour in Michigan to promote the Chateau Real brand. Previous stops for the Drew Estate duo were in Detroit and Grand Rapids. "Timothy's in Bay City is well known and well respected in Michigan," Rick Ardito said. "That's why we're here."

Cigar smokers who attended were treated to "One Free Taste" of the Chateau Real brand. According to their brochure, "Chateau Real is a balanced blend of well-aged Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos wrapped in a golden Ecuadorian grown, Connecticut shade wrapper."

Tim Socier, owner of Timothy, says that the Chateau Real is "naturally sweet and smooth." Socier says that the flavor is reminiscent of the pre-embargo Clear Havanas.

Timothy's Tobaccos is located on Center Ave in Downtown Bay City at the corner of Center and Saginaw Streets.
