RIBBON-CUTTING EXPERT: Four-year-old Anika Newton makes the final cut
during grand opening ceremonies on Thursday.

It took four months to remodel, but Newton Eyecare Center is finally up and running in their new home on Wilder Road in Bay City.

"We were just outgrowing the practice on Center," Dr. Lee Newton said. "The parking lot was too small, and so was the building." Newton bought the 11,000-square-foot building (Formerly Rush Stationers) and he and his five employees moved the practice, with the first day of business in the new location on Feb. 20, 2007.

The new facility, located conveniently on the Wilder Road corridor, was designed by Gregory Construction. The new office provides quality service, as well as state of the art technology to give customers the best care possible.

Newton Eyecare Center provides services related to Eye Health, Contact Lens, Glasses, On-Site Lasik, Children's Vision Care and Vision Therapy.

The Green Jacket Ambassadors from the Bay City Chamber of Commerce were on hand for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony last Thursday, July 12, 2007.
